The YMCA is a volunteer organization. We are governed by a local Board of Directors. We also have volunteers who are involved in our everyday operations. These volunteers are the life blood of the YMCA. If you are interested in volunteering look at the volunteer opportunities below:

Policy Volunteer:

Serve on the board of Directors or a committee. You help set a policy for the YMCA.

Program Volunteer:

Work directly with members and program participants. Helping the YMCA deliver a service to the members and/or the community. It might include coaching a youth sport, assisting with an after school program, etc.

Support Volunteer:

These people help out in the office, fitness center, or other areas of the facility or grounds.

Managerial Volunteer:

Those who act as consultants to the YMCA, lending a special skill or talent such as accounting, architecture, or public relations.
